As a business they have an excellent reputation for quality and reliability, delivering innovative, creative solutions.They are involved in a wide range of projects including education, super prime luxury residential, office builds, retail and high density residential, always maintaining a focus on sustainable design.The culture of this consultancy is both supportive and collaborative, bringing together the very best elements of working for an established company, such as interesting projects of all scales yet maintaining a close-knit teamResponsibilitiesThis design focused role would suit a project manager with some building services mechanical design experience or a building services mechanical design engineer looking to move into more of a project management role. * Working as part of a design team delivering detailed design * Providing project management and mechanical design expertise * Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams * Attending a range of project group and technical meetings * Ensuring that the design and maintenance of building systems meets legislative and health and safety requirements * Overseeing and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedures * Using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) and BIM (Revit) software and other resources to design the systems required for the project * Carrying out condition surveys and providing recommendation reports to clientsExperience Required * Accredited Building Services degree or higher educational qualification (HNC/HND) in mechanical engineering. * Post education experience in Building Services or Mechanical engineering, experience with running projects including project management calculations, drawings, specifications, etc * Experience of industry standard software
