They offer a genuinely supportive, people-focused culture where collaboration, progression and professional growth are central to everything they do.They are currently seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer, and the role is based in Nottingham.This is an excellent opportunity to take real ownership of mechanical design delivery across a diverse range of building projects, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and contributing to innovative, efficient and technically robust mechanical solutions.What you can expect: • Flexible and remote working options • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays and long-service recognition • Structured development, mentoring and professional membership support • Competitive salary, pension, and health cash plan • Strong wellness programmes and family-friendly policies • Regular team events, socials and a genuinely collaborative environment • Additional benefits including volunteering leave, cycle to work scheme, on-site parking (outside London) and moreThe role: • Produce detailed mechanical designs for a variety of building services projects • Deliver projects on time, within budget and to high technical standards • Develop cost-effective and energy-efficient mechanical engineering solutions • Attend client meetings and support project briefing and coordination • Prepare technical reports, specifications and design documentation • Carry out site inspections and produce mechanical condition reports • Collaborate closely with electrical, sustainability and other design teams • Use mechanical design tools including AutoCAD, Revit and relevant HVAC/MEP calculation softwareWhat you'll need: • A degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering • Hands-on experience in mechanical design within building services • Strong proficiency with mechanical design software and modelling tools • Excellent communication and coordination skills • The ability to obtain UK SC Clearance (essential due to project requirements)If you're a Mechanical Design Engineer ready to step up, take on meaningful project responsibility and grow within a progressive consultancy, I'd be happy to share more.
