The business is experiencing extraordinary growth, and the need has arisen to recruit a highly competent Finance Director Designate looking to step up and grow into the role of a Finance Director. Support the Managing Director and Senior Leadership team you will control all financial aspects of the business including the provision of accurate and timely management information.About the RoleKey responsibilities include:\tManagement, mentoring and development of a small, dedicated Administration & Finance team.\tProduction and continued improvement of the monthly management accounts pack.\tProvide commercial financial analysis support to the Management team which will include product pricing and profitability and business planning.\tProvide financial support for strategic plans, Budgets and Forecasts.\tSupport the MD in managing working capital.\tReview, plan and implementation of systems, processes and controls improvements encompassing all areas of finance.\tMaintain appropriate documentation of finance processes and accounting policies and ensure compliance with key controls.\tSupport annual audit process by liaison with external auditors.\tProvide financial support to the business management teams & budget holders.\tUndertake ad-hoc projects as required by the MD specifically around M&A strategy, business planning and financial forecasts.Candidate ProfileQualified ACA/CIMA or ACCA you will have a demonstrable track record of building and maintaining robust financial controls and processes in a fast-paced organisation. You will be expected to take a hands-on approach in the monthly reporting cycle, as well as having the ability to add commercial and business acumen to a wide range of complex issues and multiple projects. You will be an advanced Excel user and proficient in other MS Office products as well as possessing excellent systems experience.A key component of this role will be to present reports to the Executive management team, so strong presentation skills are required. You will have a professional and mature approach with the interpersonal skills to positively influence at all levels of management.This is a highly visible role and would suit an individual looking to equip themselves with the skills to step up to Finance Director in due course.
