Job DescriptionOur client is currently recruiting a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function and ensure their plant and equipment operate reliably, safely, and efficientlyPlease note this role will initially be based in Bourne and will then move to Corby in summer 2026.ResponsibilitiesLead the maintenance function across all plant operations including shredders, granulators, wash lines, dryers, and extrusion lines.Develop and implement a robust preventive and reactive maintenance strategy.Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring work is prioritised and completed safely and efficiently.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues across plantMaintain accurate records through CMMS and ensure all maintenance documentation is compliant.Oversee external contractors and ensure all work is completed to our client's standards and within agreed budgets.Drive continuous improvement in asset reliability and equipment performance through root cause analysis and planned interventions.Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety standards and environmental regulations.Support plant upgrades and capital projects as required.ExperienceProven experience in industrial or plant maintenanceManagerial or Supervisory experienceStrong technical knowledge of plant equipment and infrastructure.Experience in electrical and mechanical fault-finding.Proven leadership and team management skills.Competence in CMMS systems and maintenance reporting.Familiarity with lean maintenance techniques and continuous improvement.Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.QualificationsRelevant technical qualification (e.g. NVQ, HNC, or equivalent) in mechanical/electrical engineering or industrial maintenance.Additional safety qualifications (e.g. IOSH/NEBOSH) desirable.PLC knowledge or automation systems experience is an advantage.This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and thriving business.
