Job DescriptionSenior Civil Design EngineerClean & Wastewater InfrastructureManchester | Hybrid / Flexible Working Contract Opportunity - Outside IR35Our client is a specialist engineering design company delivering complex clean and wastewater infrastructure projects across the UK. Due to increased project demand, they are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their Manchester team on a contract basis.This role offers the chance to work on technically challenging schemes within a flexible, well-supported design environment.The RoleAs a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will:Lead and deliver civil design packages for clean and wastewater projectsProduce and check detailed designs, calculations, drawings, and specificationsProvide technical oversight and support to junior engineersWork closely with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholdersEnsure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and client requirementsAbout YouYou will have:A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)Ideally strong experience in clean and/or wastewater infrastructure designProven ability to deliver projects to programme and budgetProficiency with industry-standard design tools and softwareExcellent communication skills and a hands-on, delivery-focused mindsetChartered status or working towards chartership is desirable but not essential for this contract role.What’s On OfferCompetitive outside or inside IR35 day rate (depending on engagement)Flexible and hybrid working arrangementsImmediate involvement in live, long-term projectsOpportunity for contract extension based on workloadIf you’re a Senior Civil Design Engineer looking for a flexible contract role with a specialist water-sector consultancy, we’d like to hear from you.Apply now or contact us for a confidential discussion
