Job DescriptionJob Title: SEMH & SEN SupportLocation: Selby and Surrounding AreasSalary: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)Are you passionate about supporting children with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs and Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you enjoy working flexibly while making a real impact in the classroom?We're looking for caring, committed and adaptable SEMH/SEN Support Staff to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Selby. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a supply basis, with a mix of day-to-day, short-term and longer-term placements available - tailored to your availability and preferences.What You'll Be Doing:Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH and/or broader SEN needsSupporting behaviour, emotional regulation, communication and access to learningWorking closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to deliver tailored supportEncouraging positive relationships, confidence and independence in pupilsWhat We're Looking For:Experience supporting children with SEMH and/or SEN, ideally within a school or care settingA patient, empathetic and proactive approach to behaviour and emotional supportAbility to adapt and respond to the needs of different pupils and settingsA relevant qualification (e.g. Teaching Assistant Level 2/3, Team Teach, or equivalent) is desirable but not essentialWhat We Offer:Competitive daily pay, paid weeklyFull flexibility - work when and where suits youA variety of placements - from ad hoc to ongoing rolesA supportive team who value your skills and help you find the right fitOpportunities for professional development and career progressionJBRP1_UKTJ
