Regent Property are a dynamic and fast-growing agency, offering a complete service for investors, incorporating Lettings, Property Management, Sales, Furniture, Maintenance, Refurbishment and Block Management.We are now recruiting for a Client Accountant to join the team within our London office.Key responsibilities:You will deliver an efficient and effective service to Regent's Clients (Landlords), Tenants, Contractors and Staff:Ensuring monies are received, statements are raised, and invoice reconciliation is undertaken in a timely manner.Provide consultative support to Landlords and Tenants on all finance related matters.Maintaining client management system (MRI Qube/Aspasia) to ensure all records are accessible and up to dateProcess all payments via BACS/International payments in a timely manner to ensure client expectations are met.Chase debtors & identifying unallocated fundsSending regular rent arrears reporting & chasing daily in line with Company processesPaying contractor invoices within 30 days in line with our contractor service level agreement & to report on contractor commissionsVerification of new deals.Ensure deposits are protected according to legislation.Overseeing daily reconciliation of the client account and other bank accounts as necessary.Preparation of NRL returns and reports.The role:Reporting directly to Client Accounts ManagerMonday to Friday, 9am - 6pm31 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) increasing with each year of serviceAdditional day off on your birthday1 day WFH per week after initial 3 month settling in periodVibrant and fun office environment in a great location in SouthbankRegular socials throughout the yearWe will support you in studying for further qualifications (subject to training agreement)Salary £30-33k DOEThe ideal candidate will have:Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a residential client accounts departmentExperience in using Qube (Aspasia) not essential but beneficialA good understanding of the residential property marketHigh IT literacy & attention to detailQualifications: AAT Level 3 qualified (or similar business/finance qualification)
