They offer a genuinely supportive, people-focused culture where collaboration, progression and professional growth are central to everything they do.They are currently seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer, and the role is based in Nottingham.This is an excellent opportunity to take real ownership of electrical design delivery across a diverse range of building projects, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and contributing to innovative, efficient and technically robust electrical solutions.What you can expect: • Flexible and remote working options • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays and long-service recognition • Structured development, mentoring and professional membership support • Competitive salary, pension, and health cash plan • Strong wellness programmes and family-friendly policies • Regular team events, socials and a genuinely collaborative environmentThe role: • Produce detailed electrical designs for a variety of building services projects • Deliver projects on time, within budget and to high technical standards • Develop cost-effective and energy-efficient electrical engineering solutions • Attend client meetings and support project briefing and coordination • Prepare technical reports, specifications and design documentation • Carry out site inspections and produce electrical condition reports • Collaborate closely with mechanical, sustainability and other design teams • Use electrical design tools including AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, and other relevant softwareWhat you'll need: • A degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering • Hands-on experience in electrical design within building services • Strong proficiency with electrical design software and modelling tools • Excellent communication and coordination skills • The ability to obtain UK SC Clearance (essential due to project requirements)If you're an Electrical Design Engineer ready to step up, take on meaningful project responsibility and grow within a progressive consultancy, I'd be happy to share more.
