As one of the largest Independent Connection Providers (ICP’s) in the UK, we support distribution network operations across infrastructure.   Our team installs and maintains distribution networks and ensures reliable connections for customers. carrying out electrical planned work, customer connections and network reinforcement.   You’ll be part of our substation build team working on UKPN's 11kV, 33kV & 132kV Distribution Network on projects across the East of England.Your role will be to Test and Commission High Voltage Plant and apparatus onto the live distribution network integrating with existing protection schemes.Are you ready to take the next step in your career and join a dynamic team?What will you be doing?We're looking for a skilled professional to join our team and provide technical support for our projects.You'll attend client meetings, encourage innovation, and resolve design issues on site.Your role includes producing commissioning plans, testing and commissioning high voltage plant and apparatus, and ensuring compliance with current legislation.You'll also review and correct drawings, manage people safely, and mentor team members to enhance their technical knowledge.Does the above sound like the perfect role for you? If so, we'd love to hear from you What you’ll bringProven track record in Testing and Commissioning on High Voltage distribution networksSound experience of engineering policy, procedure, and legislationStrong decision-making skill and ability to identify and develop processes to improve outputsEffective communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholdersKnowledge of current Health, Safety, and Environment legislation Team player, working well with clients, designers, and site project staffQualified to HNC/Degree Level in Electrical Engineering Do you have a full UK drivers licence?
