You will play a pivotal role in setting direction, championing improvements, and developing a high-performing, motivated team.We're looking for a seasoned, proactive leader with proven experience in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment. You will lead by example, inspire and develop production staff, and uphold the highest standards of Health, Safety & Environmental practices. The company invests heavily in its people—offering training, supporting continuous improvement, and fostering a culture where individuals can develop and thrive.ResponsibilitiesLiaise with Production and Project Teams to plan and manage materials, equipment and staffing requirementsTrack and report capacity and resource consumption, acting as the gateway for workload assignmentEnsure all project schedules and work scopes are clearly defined and communicatedMaintain effective daily communication with stakeholders—including suppliers, Procurement, Engineering, Production and Project ManagersProactively address and resolve issues as they ariseReview material shortages, stock levels and safety stock, ensuring plans and reports remain accurate and up to dateChampion continuous improvement, identifying and removing waste and non-value-added activitiesAbout YouExperienced Manufacturing Manager with a proven track record in high-paced environmentsBackground in FMCG, manufacturing, engineering or a related technical fieldStrong understanding of mechanical and electrical manufacturing processesHNC or equivalent qualification in Engineering or ProductionIOSH or NEBOSH certificationExperience using MRP/ERP systems, with a solid understanding of supply chain processes
