Job DescriptionSEN Teaching Assistant - KS2 Location: Stechford, B33 Birmingham Pay Rate: £(Apply online only) Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Start Date: 05/01/2026 (January) Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant ready for your next rewarding role? A friendly and inclusive primary school in the Stechford area is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support KS2 pupils with higher and complex needs in a nurturing and well-resourced environment.This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who thrive on consistency, empathy and structured support. What You'll Be Doing:Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex needs including ASD, ADHD, and global developmental delayAssist with implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning plansWork closely with the class teacher and SENCO to track progressSupport sensory, communication and behaviour strategiesFoster a positive and inclusive learning spaceWhat We're Looking For:A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or an equivalent relevant qualificationAdditional training relevant to supporting SEND pupilsPrevious experience supporting children with SEND, ideally in KS2Confident managing challenging behaviour and using de-escalation techniquesWhy Work with Long Term Futures?Long-term, stable work with the potential for a permanent role.No day-to-day supply - full-time consistency in one school.A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement.Trial days instead of formal interviews to ensure the right fit.Access to free CPD training, including Understanding Autism, Behaviour Management, and further professional development/refreshers.Next Steps - Our 4-Step ProcessApply - Submit your CV via the application page.Initial Call - Our team will discuss your experience and preferences.Trial Day - Experience the school before making a decision.Start Work - If the school is the right fit, you're ready to begin.
