Job DescriptionOverviewWe are currently recruiting for a Service Engineer on behalf of a commercial and industrial water specialist who design, install and service a wide range of water treatment products and systems.Established over 80 years, they have over 20,000 employees working for them across 60 countries. They have a range of products including water coolers, water fountains and instant chilled & boiling water taps. They also have a range of products for commercial and industrial water treatment including water softeners, filtration systems and RO systems.They operate in a range of sectors including Commercial Building Services Industry, Water Utility and Domestic Building Services markets.The Service Engineer will be required to service, install, commission and maintain water treatment equipment on site. You will be expected to deliver first class service in a safe and sustainable manner and ensure timely site attendance and follow up reporting to support the Customer. Full training of company product range will be available.We are looking for someone with experience of water treatment equipment commissioning, service and maintenance. The main equipment will be Reverse Osmosis, Softener, Ion Exchange systems, EDI.This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. It is paying £40k – £42k per annum. Perks include annual bonus, overtime, pension, life insurance and 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. You will also have access to a van and fuel card which can also be used for private use. There is also a call-out rota which is 1 in 4.Responsibilities * Coordinating preventative maintenance. * Calibrating tools and test equipment. * Conducting field modifications. * Providing advanced troubleshooting for customers in the field. * Deliver customer satisfaction and achieve the right first-time objective; develop any necessary remedial action plans. * Complete reports on the Company job management system on completion of the site visit. * Communicate daily with the Service Account Managers providing job updates including issues, remedial works and follow up duty of care plan where required. * Maintain van stock, tools and equipment in serviceable condition. * Participate in staff appraisals, skills matrix and regular reviews. * Attend necessary training courses including site specific to enhance skills and development. * Work safely and with due diligence when on site and follow health and safety protocol. * Other duties as required by the Service Manager.Skills & Attributes * CSCS Card and EUSR Card would be beneficial. * Technical knowledge of maintaining Water Treatment systems. * Experience working in a similar position. * Good customer service and communication skills. * Proactive, can-do attitude and able to work quickly and efficiently whilst using your own initiative. * Persistent and efficient with logical problem-solving skills. * Highly effective Time Management and Personal Organisation. * A valid UK driving license.Note:- Apex Resourcing Solutions are acting as an Employment Agency
