Job DescriptionJob Title: BMS Project EngineerLocation: Mobile London / South EastEmployment Type: Full-Time / PermanentOverviewWe are looking for an experienced BMS Project Engineer to join our project delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Building Management Systems, including project engineering, software development, commissioning, and coordination of installation works. You will play a key role in delivering BMS projects from design through to handover across commercial, industrial, and public sector environments.Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design, engineering, and delivery of BMS projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.- Develop BMS software, graphics, and control strategies using leading platforms.- Oversee BMS installation works, coordinating with subcontractors, site managers, and project stakeholders.- Carry out commissioning, testing, and system optimisation.- Review and interpret project documentation including control panel drawings and wiring diagrams.- Prepare project reports, O&M documentation, test sheets, and handover packs.- Attend project meetings, providing technical input and updates.- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.- Provide technical support to engineers and subcontractors.- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.Skills & Experience Required- Strong understanding of BMS control systems, HVAC plant, and building automation.- Experience with platforms such as Trend, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Schneider, or similar.- Ability to develop and commission BMS software, graphics, and control logic.- Good understanding of electrical installation and control panel construction.- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.- Proven track record in BMS project delivery or commissioning.- Excellent communication and organisational skills.- Ability to manage multiple project tasks.Desirable Qualifications- Trend or Tridium certification.- HNC/HND or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.- CSCS/ECS card or site safety training.- Experience with integration protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, M-Bus, KNX.What We Offer- Competitive salary.- Training and development opportunities.- Pension, holiday entitlement, and benefits.- Opportunity to work on high-profile technical projects
