Overview We are seeking an experienced full-time Associate Specialist who will work at Cygnet Hospital Stevenage and provide psychiatric care on Chamberlain Ward, our 12 bed female PICU service which accepts emergency and crisis admissions. You will be fully involved as a practising psychiatrist - while being fully supported by a Consultant Psychiatrist and first-class multidisciplinary team. Chamberlain Ward at Cygnet Hospital Stevenage is accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists Quality Network and accepts emergency and crisis admissions. Referrals are accepted from all areas, including acute and prison services. Our aim is a short, rapid intervention to help service users regain a sense of control and order in their lives, so they can move to a less restrictive care setting and ultimately return home. The service provides expert, intensive, short-term, individualised care for service users detained under the Mental Health Act. Cygnet have been providing a national network of high-quality specialist mental health services for more than 30 years. We have built a reputation for delivering pioneering services and outstanding outcomes. We maintain a good relationship with our quality regulators and undergo regular inspections, with 85% of our services rated Good or Outstanding.
