Known for consistently Good to Outstanding Ofsted ratings, they provide high-quality care for children with complex emotional and behavioural needs (EBD).Role Overview:We are looking for a Residential Support Worker to provide practical, emotional, and educational support to children with complex emotional and behavioural needs. The role involves safeguarding their welfare, acting as a positive role model, and helping children achieve their potential.Key Duties:Support children's physical, emotional, behavioural, and educational needsAct as a key worker providing 1:1 guidance, advocacy, and support for learning and activitiesMaintain and follow care plans, keeping accurate recordsPromote positive behaviour and social developmentWork collaboratively with colleagues, attending team meetings and contributing to care planningComply with safeguarding, health & safety, and company policiesRequirements:Secondary education (Level 3 childcare qualification desirable)Clean driving licenceExperience in residential care or working with childrenStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAwareness of safeguarding and equal opportunitiesAbility to work under own initiative and as part of a teamEmotional resilience and understanding of challenging behaviour
