Job DescriptionHGV Class 2 Driver – Crick, NorthamptonshirePeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Crick, Northamptonshire.This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, ongoing work, and room to grow and progress.Shifts• Tuesday to Saturday – start times between 01:30 and 03:30Rates of Pay• Tuesday to Friday: £17.50 per hour• Saturday: £18.50 per hourBenefits• Excellent hourly rates• Ongoing work• Weekly pay• Onsite canteen• Training provided• Employee well-being programmeDay-to-Day Duties• Class 2 store deliveries – 1 to 3 deliveries per day• Unloading of pallets using a pump truck• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections• Ensure loads are secured safely• Adhere to traffic laws, company regulations, and delivery schedulesEssential Skills• Valid UK Category C / Class 2 Driving Licence• Minimum of 12 months' experience driving Class 2 vehicles• No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card• Good spoken and written EnglishDesirable Experience• Previous commercial driving experience• Experience in store delivery advantageousTraining Provided• Drivers must pass an assessment followed by a one-day paid induction• Industry-related training and ongoing support providedPeople Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.JBRP1_UKTJ
