Job DescriptionFEA Structural Engineer South West London – Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days home)Competitive Hourly Rate - Up to £60 p/d depending on experienceOutside IR3512+ month contract | 37.5 hours per weekCeto Talent is partnering with a leading EPC contractor, delivering large-scale and complex energy projects within the offshore sector.We are seeking an experienced FEA Structural Engineer. You will report to the Structural Design Lead within the Offshore Wind business line. The team you will join is the Floating Wind projects in FEED phase to contribute to defining structural design solutions and preparing the Project Structural Design reports.What You’ll Be DoingBuild structural models and run analyses using FEM tools such as SESAM, ABAQUS, ANSYS and in-house analysis software like SACS.Carry out detailed design calculations in line with the business’s requirements and current industry codes and standards, including DNV GL, API, AISC, EC and NORSOK.Review, comment on and approve structural drawings for steel structures based on the engineering design.
