Job DescriptionPosition: Insolvency SolicitorLocation: BristolThe Firm: A leading national commercial law firm offering high-quality restructuring and insolvency opportunity. The team advises insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, company directors and corporates on a full spectrum of insolvency and restructuring matters.The Opportunity: This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable, well-structured insolvency team that offers strong mentoring, varied workstreams and clear progression. The successful candidate will handle a mix of corporate and personal insolvency instructions across contentious and non-contentious matters.Key Responsibilities:\tActing on administrations, liquidations, receiverships and bankruptcy matters.\tAdvising on contentious insolvency including misfeasance claims, TUV, preferences and director liability actions.\tDrafting and negotiating documentation for insolvency appointments, restructuring proposals and enforcement.\tConducting security reviews and advising lenders on enforcement strategies.\tManaging relationships with insolvency practitioners, lenders and directors.\tSupporting business development and contributing to team growth.\tMentoring junior fee earners as required.Candidate Requirements:\tExperience in corporate and/or personal insolvency\tStrong technical understanding of the Insolvency Act, Insolvency Rules and Companies Act.\tConfident handling both contentious and advisory matters.\tStrong drafting, analytical and communication skills.\tAble to manage a busy caseload and work independently.Desirable Skills\tExposure to lender advisory, LPA receivership or complex insolvency litigation.\tNetwork within the insolvency and restructuring community.\tDemonstrated interest in business development.Additional Information\tCompetitive salary and full benefits package.\tHybrid working environment with flexibility.\tClear development opportunities within a highly ranked national team.Apply here or contact Charlotte at Austen Lloyd as soon as possible.Austen Lloyd Limited is a Specialist Legal Recruitment Agency operating nationally.
