Job DescriptionClark Resourcing Solutions are currently assisting our renewables client in sourcing an experienced Pressure Vessel Inspector to cover Surrey and Southeast England, Kent, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.Our ideal candidate will reside in or around this area, be happy to travel through the SE of England and must have previous experience in the role with the correct certification to be considered.The successful candidate will hold a minimum of ASME Level 1 In-Service Inspection of Pressure Systems (PSSR's), or API 501 certification or equivalant)Benefits: * Company van * Laptop * Life insurance * Fuel card * Phone * Retail discountsThis list does not represent an exhaustive list but indicates the main responsibilities the Pressure Vessel Inspector will be required to undertake: * Carry out thorough examination of a wide range of Pressure Vessels on customer sites. * Liaise with Inspection Supervisor and clients regarding progress of the job, report any issues relating to the work scope and any integrity concerns in a timely manner. * Carry out risk assessments and method statements as required. * Evaluate results of any tests in accordance with applicable standards/ specification and procedures * Produce a clear and concise report detailing all equipment examined highlighting any defects or recommendations. * Liaising with clients, ensuring any defects and recommendations are communicated effectively. * Ensure that work area is safe to carry out Inspections. * Maintain company van ensuring it is clean and safe at all times. * Assist with any other duties as required. * Carry out work in a timely and efficient manner in order to meet deadlines, changing priorities when the situation requires. * Carry out work in accordance with operating procedures and statutory / client specifications and requirementsPressure Vessel inspectors desired qualifications and experience:(Essential) * ASME Level 1 In-Service Inspection of Pressure Systems (PSSR’s). * API 501 * Previous experience and knowledge of PSSR Regulations & testing.Preferred: * HNC in Mechanical EngineeringAbout You * Good Organisational and administrative skills * Strong attention to detail * Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, set deadlines and prioritise tasks * Ability to work on own initiative and assist other team members where required * Ability to work independently in challenging circumstances and use initiative to propose and implement changes to work practices.The role also offers LEV Inspection training and certification, but candidates holding qualification for Thorough Examination and Testing of Local Exhaust Ventilation Systems certification are highly desired or willing to undergo further training.(Monday to Friday)
