Job DescriptionAbout the RoleOur client, a leading name in high-end manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee operations for a key customer programme.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day to day site operations, including procurement, inventory, vendor management, and customer service.Maintain strong relationships with the client’s management and plant teams, ensuring alignment with programmed objectives.Identify opportunities for value added services, cost savings, and performance improvements.Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as cost, sales, and service levels.Ensure compliance with contractual targets, including annual cost-saving initiativesManage and develop on site staff, including training and performance management.Coordinate technical support, vendor collaboration, and new product introductions.Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock audits.Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.Skills & ExperienceProven experience in inventory or storeroom management (3–5 years minimum).Strong background in procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.Solid understanding of LEAN principles and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) savings.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Confident decision-maker with an entrepreneurial mindset.Proficient in project coordination and performance reporting.Valid UK driving license required.Minimum of a secondary education (A-Level or equivalent).Further education or relevant professional qualifications desirable.
