If you have a strong commitment to supporting children with additional needs, especially those with behavioural issues, and are excited by the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding setting, we would love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Tailored Teaching: Delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons to students with a range of SEN needs, particularly those with behavioural and emotional difficulties.Behaviour Management: Implementing and maintaining effective behaviour management strategies in line with the school's policies, promoting positive behaviour and a safe learning environment.Individualised Support: Working closely with SENCo and other professionals to create Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that support the academic and emotional development of each student.Collaboration: Collaborating with classroom assistants, therapists, and other specialists to provide holistic support to students.Assessment: Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing detailed reports and feedback, and adjusting teaching strategies as needed.Parent Communication: Building positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress and wellbeing.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a background in Special Educational Needs or Behavioural Support.Experience working with students who have behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties, preferably in a specialist setting.A strong understanding of SEN frameworks and effective strategies for supporting students with behavioural challenges.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students, parents, and colleagues.A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach to teaching, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable students.A proactive, flexible attitude, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students.Why Join Us?A supportive and collaborative team environment.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.A school committed to fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child is valued.Competitive salary and benefits package.A chance to work in a rewarding and impactful role, supporting students to overcome barriers to learning and behaviour.How to Apply:If you are a dedicated and experienced SEN teacher with a passion for supporting students with behavioural challenges, we would love to hear from you.
