Rewards PackagePaid breaksCompany pension planHealth Care Cash PlanAccess to Wagestream platformAccess to Perkbox, discounts platformOpportunities for Training & DevelopmentAccess to our Employee Assistance ProgrammeDiscretionary bonusEmployee Recognition ProgrammesDeath in Service benefitScope for progression and promotion within the company as we grow from one Care Home to the development and subsequent opening of four new homes in London.Employee Referral SchemeMain Duties and ResponsibilitiesMeet and greet guests on arrival in a warm and friendly mannerSupport the kitchen team to deliver first class Loveday dining experiences.Prepare mise-en-place and make sure all cutlery, plates and glassware are polished.Set up tables according to the Loveday & Co Dining StandardsFollow the service steps for each meal service.To serve members and guests beverages and refreshments as and when required in all day dining areaEnsure that all fridges and snack areas are always fully stocked.Recognise regular visitors and interact warmly with families.Maintain all stock levels of consumables i.e. teas, coffees, sugars, disposables, drinks (with the support of the Hospitality Lead.Check the cleanliness in common areas and guest bathrooms throughout the day and liaise with housekeeping team to ensure all areas are always immaculate.Respond to queries and direct clients as required, referring to the general manager as necessary.Answer incoming calls and redirect or take messages as necessary.Receive deliveries and post and sort and distribute all post deliveries.Monitor guests/clients via the CCTV and door entry call system ensuring they gain entrance and are able to exit the building as required.Ensure reception area is kept tidy and clutter free.To adhere and comply to all Health and Safety proceduresProvide ad hoc support as required by the businessKey ResponsibilitiesElectrical & MechanicalElectrical fault finding, repairs and minor installations (single/three phase knowledge beneficial)Planned, reactive, and statutory electrical maintenance on lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, fire alarm interfaces, and control systems.Inspection & testing of fixed wire installations in line with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).Fault diagnosis, isolation, and repair of electrical issues.PAT testing and periodic compliance checks (emergency lighting, fire alarm weekly testing, etc.)Diagnose and support repairs on HVAC and mechanical plant systemsReplace air conditioning and water filtersCarry out daily BMS-related checksConduct plant room, valve, expansion vessel, and critical asset inspections in line with planned maintenance schedulesGeneral Building & Fabric MaintenancePainting, decorating, patch repairs, sealant, and grout renewalBasic carpentry and joinery (doors, hinges, cabinetry adjustments, fixtures, safety rails)Minor plumbing (leaks, tap/shower repairs, trap/flush issues, valve isolation)General fault finding across building fabric and internal systemsExternal tasks including leaf clearing, jet washing, gutters/drains (accessible), winter grittingCompliance & SafetyExecute daily, weekly, and monthly PPM tasks including water temp checks, flushing, fire alarm tests, evacuation chair & fire escape inspections, wheelchair checksPeriodic visual fire extinguisher checksMaintenance and water sampling of Hydro Treadmill and Hydrotherapy PoolCarry out fire warden training and conduct bi-annual evacuation drillsReview subcontractor RAMS and supervise works on-siteEnsure full adherence to health & safety and statutory compliance standardsOperational & Hospitality SupportAssembly/disassembly and safe movement of furniture and equipmentReceiving, checking, and managing maintenance stock levelsGeneral support to the General Manager with logistical tasks (e.g. collection/delivery runs if required)Person ProfileProven hands-on experience in building maintenance (electrical biased), with mechanical competenceFamiliar with hospitality, care, hotel, luxury residential or similar high-standard environmentsFormal electrical qualification maintenanceStrong understanding of compliance, health & safety, and asset protectionHigh attention to detail with a strong person centric approachProfessional, trustworthy, and member-focused with excellent communication skillsAble to travel between multiple residences when requiredFlexible to provide holiday & sickness cover and technical support at other residences where requiredAdditional InformationThis job description is not exhaustive.
