Are you up for the challenge?2H Offshore are looking to add an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to their expanding team. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be part a multi-disciplinary project teams across a wide variety of projects, encompassing engineering design and analysis at the conceptual, feasibility, FEED, detailed design, and/or installation stages projects. You will take a leading role on these projects and develop strong and close working relationships with our engineering team and our clients founded on a personal approach and technical excellence. You will take joint responsibility to deliver the technical excellence 2H expect across a wide variety of riser and renewable projects.By joining our team, you will play a pivotal role in helping us develop solutions to support energy industry and decarbonisation contributions. In addition, your expertise will help us support oil and gas well engineering projects ensuring energy security while promoting responsible energy practices.If you are passionate about making a meaningful impact in the energy sector, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to contribute to our ongoing growth, we encourage you to apply.Duties & Main ResponsibilitiesPerforming and oversight of the design and analysis of offshore foundations, which include, gravity base, piled, suction can, anchors, etc, along with installation performanceWorking closely with the other engineering disciplines within 2H to provide holistic solutions to our clientsWorking both independently and within a multi-discipline team to solve engineering problemsSupporting other team members by actively sharing your expertise and experienceCommunicating results of analysis to the 2H engineering team and clientsRequiredExperienced in soil mechanics and offshore geotechnical designDegree level education with a Bachelors or Masters degree in civil engineering, or similar fieldPractical knowledge of ground investigation, geotechnical engineering, and geological processesExperience in conducting data assessments and geotechnical analysesProficiency in writing technical reports and presentations
