This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to become a Lead Building Regulations Consultant for a respected, design-led consultancy delivering complex, high-profile schemes.The OpportunityA growing multi-disciplinary practice is seeking a Lead Building Regulations Consultant to take ownership of building regulations, compliance and safety across a wide range of projects. These include high-rise residential buildings, commercial developments and large-scale schemes throughout Newcastle and the surrounding region.This is a remote role with occasional travel to meetings or sites within the local area.What You Will Be DoingLeading building regulations strategy and compliance across complex projectsProviding expert guidance on the Building Safety Act 2022 and Gateway requirementsWorking closely with design teams to maintain compliance without compromising design qualityAdvising on constructability, technical design and regulatory considerationsTaking a leading role on high-rise building projects (HRBs)If you have limited exposure to the Gateway process, the consultancy has a structured training pathway ready to support you.What You Will ReceiveA competitive senior-level salary packageRemote working with flexibilityLeadership responsibility across major, high-value schemesFull guidance and training on the Gateway process where requiredThe chance to shape the compliance strategy of an innovative organisationAbout YouIdeally a RIBA Part 3 ArchitectStrong working knowledge of construction, building regulations and the Building Safety Act 2022Experience working on HRBs or other complex schemes is beneficialAn eye for design and the ability to work closely with architects and technical teamsUnderstanding of the Gateway process is desirable but not essentialHow to ApplyIf you are seeking a senior role with genuine influence and long-term progression, this Lead Building Regulations Consultant position offers a standout opportunity.
