Job DescriptionJob Title: Contract Product Support EngineerType: 12-Month ContractStatus: Inside IR35 (Umbrella PAYE)Rate: £300–£350 per day (depending on experience)Location: Surrey – Onsite initially, with flexibility for hybrid working thereafterAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contract Product Support Engineer in Surrey to join a multi-disciplinary engineering team working on new product development across Healthcare and Industrial IoT solutions.This position focuses on testing, validation and technical support for innovative connected products being rolled out across global markets.The RoleAs a Contract Product Support Engineer in Surrey, you’ll play a key part in supporting both current and next-generation product development, taking designs from feasibility through to testing and global product launch.Your responsibilities will include:Providing technical support for digital solutions and IoT platforms used across multiple countriesSupporting the design, test, and validation of new digital and connected productsAssisting with global product launches and technical documentationDesigning and executing test plans in the in-house development labTracking and resolving technical issues in line with formal change control proceduresYou’ll work closely with Project Managers and Technical Leads, collaborating across international teams to deliver best-in-class technical outcomes.Skills & ExperienceDegree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Systems or similar2–5 years’ experience within a product development or technical R&D environmentHands-on understanding of wireless technology, IoT systems, and digital platformsPractical experience with fault-finding, debugging and test executionKnowledge of analogue and digital electronicsStrong analytical mindset and structured documentation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsConfident collaborating across different cultures and disciplinesPersonal AttributesSelf-starter who takes initiative and ownershipLogical problem-solverTeam player with strong communication and organisation skillsWilling to travel occasionally for project development supportIf you’re a technically minded engineer ready for your next challenge, this Contract Product Support Engineer in Surrey position offers the opportunity to join a forward-thinking global development team, working on innovative IoT and digital technologies that make a real-world impact.Interested?
