The Role: Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor, you will:Advise on commercial leases, acting for both landlords and tenants in high-value transactions.Handle freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions, often with complex or strategic elements.Support on development and planning matters, advising major clients on large-scale projects.Act as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base — including investors, developers, landlords and occupiers.Lead matters independently while mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development. What You’ll Bring5–10+ years’ PQE in commercial property law, ideally from a well-regarded regional or City firm.Proven experience running a caseload of complex commercial property transactions.Strong negotiation and drafting skills with a pragmatic, commercial approach.Excellent client relationship skills and the ability to manage demanding client portfolios.A following or established network is desirable but not essential.Proactive mindset with enthusiasm for business development and growing the firm’s offering.
