This role is open to experienced Claims Handlers but also to individuals with a strong customer service background.Claims Handler / Senior Claims Handler - Property Claims – Key dutiesTake ownership of a portfolio of claims to allow for efficient and effective handling of those claims from first instruction until completion of the building repairs and/or drying/restoration. Building relationships with key stakeholders including our clients and suppliers and ensuring strong communication throughout.Claim opening – Secondary notification of lossSupplier allocationFirst point of contact for customersEffective stakeholder communication – both internal and externalInbound and outbound call handlingKeeping claims systems updatedHandling low level complaints to ensure quick resolutionEnsuring Data is handled responsibly and is compliant with GDPRSupporting and offering guidance to suppliersEffective Claim ManagementClaims Handler / Senior Claims Handler - Property Claims - Key requirementsCert CII or similar and/or happy to work towards a relevant qualificationStrong communication Skills and comfortable in building relationshipsExperience within a Customer Service EnvironmentGood Organisation and Time Management SkillsAn enthusiastic and collaborative Team PlayerAlong with our client, we are committed to a diverse workforce and as such recruit from a wide available pool of talent, with the hiring, assessment and selection process being fair, free from bias and one which ensures the right person is selected for the job, based on merit.
