Job DescriptionDomestic Couple Job DescriptionMarcilly Recruitment’s client is looking for a Domestic Couple to manage a wonderful large country estate in the Cotswolds. This is a fully functioning, working estate and the role is working as part of a longstanding team.This is an exceptional position set in a sought-after location. You will be provided with your own property on the estate with bills and utilities covered. This role will suit a proactive, hardworking couple who are motivated, efficient and who will be able to hit the ground running. They are fair employers and very family orientated.Salary: £70-90k DOE per annum for the couple + private accommodation and bills and wonderful benefits including a discretionary bonus and Soho House membershipHours: 6 day working week on a rota system, no fixed hours as this is dependent on whether the family are in residence but flexible hours. There will also be some travel with the roleLocation: OxfordshireStart date: ASAP but will wait a noticeDomestic couple responsibilities: \tSupport household cleaning, working with housekeepers to create good teamwork throughout the house\tServing at family meals and at more formal lunches/dinners\tLiaising with their chef to organise all table settings, cutlery, crockery and glass wear\tDriving, particularly locally for collections, kids, shopping etc.\tOccasional cooking help with family meals\tLots of varied support around the house\tOccasional support with the children, facilitating sports or helping with a child’s party etc\tKeeping communal areas tidy/organised\tCar washing/maintenance/MOT/servicing\tAssist with general cleaning and maintenance of both indoor and outdoor areas\tKeeping the outdoor pool area/outdoor entertaining area up to top standard\tButler assistance for when guests come to the house and overnight stays – carrying luggage, parking cars, checking rooms are ready and helping with departures\tLocking up and securing the property at the end of the day\tTake care of small repairs, like light plumbing and moving\tSupport housekeeping staff with occasional lifting/moving and deep cleaning tasks\tEnsure the proper functioning of appliances and systems, coordinating repairs as necessary\tCare for family pets, which may include overnight staysDomestic couple requirements: \tMust have previous experience working in a private household \tStrong work ethic and attention to detail\tAbility to multitask and work well independently or as part of a team\tBasic handyman and/or technical skills\tPet – friendly\tClean driving licenseMarcilly Recruitment is a boutique recruitment firm specialising in business administrative and operational support and private household recruitment.Unfortunately, due to the sheer volume of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each one individually.
