Job DescriptionJob Description: Care WorkerLocation: London Borough of Hillingdon and surrounding areasReports to: Field Care Suporvisor / Service ManagerCCS Homecare Services are providing essential care to the elderly and vulnerable adults across the London Borough of Hillingdon. It is not necessary for you to have a background in care, but we are looking for individuals with empathy, compassion, creativity and commitment and those who genuinely want to make a positive difference to other people’s lives. You will support our service users by enabling them to improve their quality of life and helping them to achieve their desired goals.You are required to provide personal, domestic care and companionship to vulnerable adults/elderly intheir own homes.Key responsibilities will include; but not be limited to:- Providing service users with the appropriate level of care in accordance with their support plan.- Safeguarding the rights and dignity of service users- Supporting service users to build their confidence, self-esteem and their ability to manage their mental health SymptomsSupporting service users to take their medicationSupport service users with their daily living skills and domestic choresAccurately keeping daily recordsMaintaining service user's independenceAssisting with personal care to both male and female service usersRequirements:Must drive own car/motorbike/moped/electric bike (no electric scooter.)Have a valid UK license and business InsuranceGood verbal communication skillsWritten standard of written EnglishCommitment, enthusiasm, flexibility, professionalismExperience in care is desirable but not essential (full training provided)Good problem solving skills and a solutions focused approachPositive and friendly nature, with a ‘can-do’ attitudeBenefits:Flexible working patterns: Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities available (Permanent & Contract)Competitive Salary Structure + overtime availableTravel Subsistence paidLocalised work availableFull Paid Training Offered – with on-going training and Learning & Development.Key Worker Letter/ID Badge issuedFull P.P.E.
