We have a focus on the UK market for them and we're actively looking for a Solar Electrician / Technician to join the team. The client delivers varying services, from O&M to full design and system integration.This position is field based and we're looking for a Solar Electrician / Technician with a basic salary of up to £50,000 and you'd also receive a hugely impressive benefits package. Large scale / utility scale solar experience is key in achieving the top end of the salary bracket.If you're a Solar Technician, Solar Electrician, or Solar Engineer looking to work for a key organisation in the market, then submit your CV to apply today.There is genuine training and development with this role too, with internal succession planning and development being absolutely key to their growth.Responsibilities and Duties of the Solar Electrician / Technician RoleReporting to the Regional Team Leader you will:Planned and reactive works across a variety of ground mount solar assets.Testing and inspecting the electrical systems, tracing faults and rectifying where possible.Liaising with specialist equipment suppliers to troubleshoot issues on site.Daily reports on the work carried out on site.Fault finding on both AC and DC systems.Taking into account all HSE legislation when carrying out any work.Supervising third-party contractors on site if and when required.Participating in an occasional weekend rota, with additional pay as a result.Occasional working and staying away.Professional QualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:Utility scale solar experience or commercial/industrial scale.Level 3 electrical qualifications.2391 test and inspection certification.HV AP is desirable.Good working knowledge of key industry instruments and testing equipment.Personal SkillsThe Solar Electrician / Technician role would suit someone who is:Good at fault-finding and has a methodical approach.Strong understanding of HV and LV power electronics, including transformers and invertersSalary and Benefits of the Solar Electrician / Technician RoleSalary up to £50,000 depending on experience.Company bonus up to 12.5%.Vehicle and fuel card.Private healthcare.Life insurance worth up to £200,000.Phone, laptop, and equipment provided.Flexible working.Astute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
