Job Overview:
Axon Moore are once again working alongside an excellent organisation based in Central Manchester who have created a new role for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join this well-established team.
As illustrated below, the role offers a wide variety of both commercial and technical responsibilities, support both the Financial Controller and Senior Business Partner with critical work.

**Salary**: £45,000
Benefits: 28 days holiday, extensive benefits including an enhanced pension scheme, hybrid and flexible working.
Location: Central Manchester
The primary responsibilities of the role are below:

- Support the Financial Controller and Senior Business Partner in the preparation of annual budgets, business plans and other statistical information.
- Preparation of accurate management accounts and financial information. This will include P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flow forecasting.
- Support in the assessment of financial information to interpret financial performance.
- Coordinate and report delivery of the business plan and transformation projects.
- Review VAT returns to ensure its accurate and completeness before submission.
- Responsible for ensuring accurate cash flow modelling.
- Subject matter expert for IFRS 16.
- Complete annual corporate tax submissions.
- Support preparation of the annual financial statements.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure all accurate information is provided.
Person Specification:

- ACA/ ACCA or CIMA Qualified
- Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines
- Strong IT skills, in particular Excel and preferably SAP
- Sound knowledge of current accounting practices
