_We are currently looking for Production Operatives to join our busy team across various departments in Royston _
- We have the following roles available:_
- _Metallic Production Operators_
- _Hot Form/Chemical Processing Operator_
- _Cold Form Operator_

**Hours of Work**:37.5 hours per week

**Production Operative Duties**:
**Metallic**
- Accurate interpretation of production route cards
- Accurate completion of production route cards
- General housekeeping of the work area
- Achieve company work & quality standards
- Participate in team-based activities
- On completion of the standard training programme, show competence in performing operations
- Perform all reasonable requests made by management

**Hot Form/Chemical Processing**
- Accurate interpretation and completion of production route cards.
- Use hot forming techniques to press components made of Titanium and Nickel Alloys (e.g. Inconel & Nimonic) to tight tolerances.
- Manufacture aerospace components using various manufacturing processes including acid pickling, hot draw forming and hot die quenching in accordance with customer specifications and Quality procedures.
- Achieve company work & quality standards in addition to delivery targets.
- Perform all reasonable requests made by management.

**Cold Form**
- Perform typical press operations including set up to support the shop floor
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
- Accurate interpretation and completion of production route cards
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
- Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the TPM charts
- Perform all reasonable requests made by management

**Production Operative Requirements**:

- Must have the right to live and work in the UK (Essential)
- Able to read and interpret technical documentation, visual aids and data sheets.
- Ability to work under own initiative with limited supervision accurately and timely.
- Experience with acid pickling, hot draw forming, and hot die quenching would be advantageous however full training will be given if not.
- Willing to engage in CI projects
- Good time keeper
- Health & Safety conscious
- Team Player
- Flexible (overtime when required)
- Willing to engage in continuous improvement projects
- Experience of working with Aluminium is beneficial
- Must be able to work under own initiative with limited supervision accurately and timely

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience as a Press Operator
- Previous experience as a Fork Lift Truck Driver (FLTD
