Smt Technician

**SMT Technician - Colchester - £23,000 - £25,000 pa**
A leading Electronics Manufacturer are looking to bring on an SMT Technician to help develop and maintain their electronic devices uses in the instrumentation and test industry. They offer great training and will even help you get into more R&D based work ifthat’s what you are looking for.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with day to day operations of the UK based SMT department.
- Work on a large range of multilayer, double sided, mixed technology PCB assemblies.
- Work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.

**Key Skills/Experience**:

- BTEC/HND/HNC in Electrical/Electronics or another relevant engineering discipline would be ideal
- SMT Soldering & rework
- Strong team player
- Operation, adjustment & programming of SMT equipment
- Read & Understand BoM documentation, schematics and drawings
