Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a permanent Finance Manager - Financial Reporting & Controls based in Edinburgh for a financial services organisation paying £60,000 - £68,000 base salary plus excellent bonus potential and benefits.
**The Opportunity**
The business is a UK financial services group with an outstanding reputation for client care and staff satisfaction. It is an organisation which encourages progression and development, so there is likely to be opportunities to move both laterally and verticallywithin the finance function.
The position of Finance Manager - Financial Reporting & Controls will sit within group finance and will have the opportunity to join a highly reputable team with a great culture.
The role will be heavily involved in the production of financial reports for various product lines, including producing, reconciling, and analysing the P&L - ensuring the appropriate controls are in place. Moreover, you will be involved in the supportingthe group month end - validating the balance sheet and ensuring accuracy of reporting in a timely manner.
The successful Finance Manager - Financial Reporting & Controls will be a qualified accountant with appropriate post-qualification experience to warrant a role at this level. You must have an excellent data skill set and be able to work with and manipulatelarge data sets on MS Excel. Lastly, financial services experience would be advantageous but not essential.

- Qualified Accountant - CIMA, CA, ACCA etc
- Highly experienced in financial reporting and controls
- Financial services experience is preferred but not essential
- Able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Highly competent with data using MS Excel
