Due a recent internal promotion, we now have a rare opportunity for an individual looking to take the next step in their Procurement career.

Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, you will utilise your existing skill set to undertake the following responsibilities:

- Use RFQ process to negotiate best price and value whilst maintaining quality and availability of products
- Manage the sourcing of special items, to include pricing and lead times
- Supplier & Vendor management to secure long-term business gains
- Ensure all SLA’s are met and rectify an issues swiftly resolved
- Manage stock levels and work with budget holders to manage cost of aged stock
- Manage the ETA and lead times in line with customer demand
- Maintain product portfolio and supplier information via TMS including placed orders
- Work with Senior Buyers to ensure budgets and forecasts are achieved
- Support the sales team with product and pricing information
- Manage the order book to ensure minimum disruption due to cancellations or delays

To be considered for this exciting position, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience of working with a busy Procurement division, ideally within IT
- Strong communication skills and demonstrate a professional manner when dealing with internal customers and external stakeholders
- Desire to provide excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Solutions focused and able to remain calm under pressure
- Flexible, positive, team-centric attitude, and able to adapt to the constantly evolving landscape
- Able prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- A keen eye for detail and committed to getting the best results first time
- Highly organised

This role requires you to be on-site 5 days per week, therefore you must be happy to travel into Nottingham.

Salary range will be £25,000 - £30,000 plus a host of excellent benefits.
