Breakfast Assistant

**Salary**:
£13 per hour

**Working Hours**:
6.30am - 2.30pm, 37.5 hours per week.

Weekend work required.

The Rookery.

**The role / duties**:
As Breakfast assistant you will be required to carry out a range of tasks including:

- Basic food preparation - Preparing continental room service breakfast.
- Deliver breakfast to guest bedrooms
- Replenishing and cleaning in room minibars
- Stock control.
- Daily cleaning of kitchen and other service / welfare areas.
- Ensuring compliance food hygiene and health and safety legislation and with hotel operating procedures.
- Assisting in the Housekeeping Department.

We are looking for someone with a broad range of skills and experience that should include;
- Social confidence. You must be able to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
- A genuine passion for customer service.
- Pride in your personal appearance.
- The ability to multitask and the drive to see things completed with the required attention to detail.
- Be a team player, ready and willing to assist your colleagues in all departments.
