Internship in Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging

**Grade UE06: £33,882 - £39,105, the internship will be offered on the first step for the grade**

**Fixed-term: 14-month internship
The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies is pleased to announce a full-time 14-month fixed-term Internship in Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging.

You will play a key part in providing the diagnostic service working under the supervision of experienced specialist radiologists and contributing to undergraduate teaching. You will join our diagnostic imaging team of 8 radiologists and 4 radiographers. You will be trained in performing and interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities during regular business hours and out of hours.

The Easter Bush Campus has first-class clinical and teaching facilities. This allows interaction with clinicians from a wide range of other disciplines, and research colleagues. **Application Information
Specialist training is via a three year residency followed by examination. The Specialist diplomas are awarded by either the European Board of Vet Specialists (EBVS) or the American equivalent and are recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) in the UK. The curriculum is approved by the individual European colleges who sit under the EBVS, and the eligibility criteria for entering the training is also decided by the colleges, and includes a rotating internship.
