**IT Systems Engineer**

**Cambridge**

**£35,000 - £37,500**

This business in the education sector is looking for an IT Systems Engineer to join their small IT function. Being the middle man between the Support Technician and the IT Manager, you will be responsible for 2nd - 3rd line Server and System support.

The role requires a strong technical depth of knowledge across implementing and maintaining IT Infrastructure.

With 27 days annual leave, enhanced pension, private healthcare, childcare scheme and an onsite canteen this is an opportunity to work in an autonomous way.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Being an escalation point for the 1st line team
- Maintenance of the Windows infrastructure
- Networking
- Responsible for strategic infrastructure projects

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience supporting a windows infrastructure
- Windows Server
- O365
- Active Directory
- Hyper V / VMWare
- Networking (Configuring switches)
- Right to work in the UK without restrictions
