At Up and Away we believe people and culture are the heart of our success. As the Recruitment Team Leader you will be a key contributor to this success by identifying and recruiting talented people. You will focus on direct recruiting as well as manage our inbound channels, provide insight into the current market and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process by building effective and collaborative relationships.

We are looking for a tenacious and passionate recruitment professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced dynamic environment, motivating a small recruitment team to deliver

**Key responsibilities**:

- Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and role specifications.
- Collaborating with base managers to compile a consistent and up to date list of resource requirements
- Maximise representation of the business at recruitment fairs and networking events
- Arrange management interviews, coordinating schedules where necessary
- Improve organisation’s EVP by recommending new policies and practices
- Support the onboarding process for new starters to the business including referencing and airport pass administration where needed
- Where required liaise with recruitment agencies to support the fulfilment of the business requirements
- Provide recruitment reports to internal management
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity, staying up to date with employment legislation
- Support administration and ensure systems are up to date and audited

Previous background:

- Previous experience in a fast-paced, hyper growth environment.
- High volume, industrial or aviation industry recruitment experience would be beneficial with a focus on both quality and urgency.
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- The ability to make things happen. Strong personal drive, integrity, and good humour.
- Collaborative stakeholder management with the ability to positively challenge and input ideas to improve the recruitment process
- Experience with employer branding and marketing to attract talent
- Flexibility to travel to Up and Away bases when needed
