A Financial Services Company established in 2014, are looking for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join its growing team. The company works with both its customers and partners to develop a quality and innovative product and provide the best service possibleto find the best solution for their customers.

**The Role**

**Responsibilities**
- Playing a key role in driving strategic change, improving the performance of current strategies
- Providing support for the continuous improvement & automation in the operational area.
- Producing and distributing management information with managing stakeholders
- Working on diverse projects with other areas of the business
- Undertaking and running complex projects to support the development of strategies, policies, predictive models and processes in the wider business
- Managing & coaching junior analysts, driving their development through the sharing of experience and expertise
- Delivering and presenting detailed and focused reporting & analysis on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to the Credit Risk Committee
- Working with external stakeholders and technology vendors to help introduce credit risk solutions into the business

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Eager to learn different skills and absorb new information
- Analytically minded and inquisitive
- A logical approach and excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Confident with presenting to Executive Colleagues
- Organised and able to prioritise workloads
- Confident and competent with data analysis tools/languages, such as SAS, SQL, Python, R or similar, and ideally, a high standard of proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience in motor finance, secured or unsecured financial products
- Familiar with management information / analytics production and development, portfolio management, collections & risk strategies, predictive modelling, or provisioning and bad debt practices
