The Health Equalities Team is expanding and is actively looking for motivated individuals who are able to work across a developing portfolio with a committed team, and with a drive for self-sufficient working.

We are hosted by Essex County Council but work on behalf of the health and social care system across Southend Essex and Thurrock, and cover an all-age programme of work on behalf of the Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) and Local Authorities of this Transforming Care Partnership footprint. Our aim is for autistic people, and those with a learning disability to have the same health, wellbeing, and life expectancy as anyone else in the local population.

**The role**

The team delivers a diverse portfolio on behalf of all local partners and for NHS England and as such, we require dedicated resource across the team to ensure the responsible commissioners and Associate Director can fulfil these obligations and provide assurances to our key stakeholders.

The Team Coordinator will work closely with the existing commissioners in the team to coordinate and minute meetings, organising relevant papers as required (e.g. associated correspondence, agendas, action logs, minutes, etc.), and lead on key reporting including the collation of raw data, analysis of trends and presentation across a consistent format on a recurrent basis.

Of key importance is the timeliness of tasks being completed, and consistent and accurate delivery of data and other relevant information prepared for the appropriate audience.

**The person**

We therefore need someone who is highly organised, a good communicator and can manage data and spreadsheets. Experience of this kind of work is expected.

We are a value driven team and want someone who understands some of the challenges facing autistic people and those with a learning disability and is interested in making a difference.

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
- Educated to RQF level 3 (A level) or equivalent by experience.
- Evidence of development within role.
- Experience of working in an administrative environment, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel and other computerised data systems, with evidence of accurate data entry.
- Awareness of a range of health or social care services and the national initiatives relating to LD and Autism.
- Experience of working with people with learning disability and or autism.
- Able to work on own initiative, organising and prioritising own workload to set deadlines, evidencing problem solving skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
