Driver Trainer

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new drivers, covering safety protocols, vehicle operation, and company policies.
- Assess driver performance through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance skills.
- Develop training materials and resources that align with industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations affecting commercial driving and ensure compliance among trainees.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to facilitate the smooth operation of deliveries and logistics.
- Provide ongoing support and mentorship to drivers to promote continuous improvement in driving techniques and safety awareness.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid driving licence for relevant vehicle categories.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles to assist trainees with technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey training material.
- Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with flatbed lorries and van delivery processes is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities.
