**About The Role**: Working as part of the L&D team, you’ll have expertise in how adults learn along with knowledge of the training cycle. You’ll be confident enough to deliver training to large groups, constantly checking-in to make sure we’re sharpening their knowledge and driving successful training outcomes. You’ll be passionate and have a natural, creative flair when it comes to improving the impact of our training, whilst focused on the overall internal customer experience along the wayWe know we work better when we’re together, so all our AOers come into the office Monday to Friday. We collaborate more easily, have continual conversations, we’re more creative, give better support, and all this makes us more motivated and even better at what we do. **Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing**: - Design and deliver blended learning initiatives, using creative, innovative, and evidence-based approaches which deliver impact to the learner and the business - Ownership of the content development process, including completing the TNA, project plan, kick off meeting, design, sourcing from internal/external parties, sign off, Train the Trainer and/or delivery and evaluation. - Design or source learning using the most appropriate L&D route including digital learning routes, use of virtual tools and resources - Act as the L&D expert bringing the latest L&D thinking into the team e.g., learning theories, technology and learning trends - Stakeholder, SME (Subject Matter Expert) and external partner management - Measure the impact and effectiveness of all programmes using a robust metrics - Review and amend development activities in line with evaluation, ensuring they are continually aligned to business objectives **A Few Things About You**: - Use creative, innovative approaches to design and deliver learning initiatives - Take ownership of the content development process - assessing needs, scoping out the project, and figuring out who needs to be involved - Find the most appropriate L&D route (such as digital learning, virtual tools or in-person) and design the sessions using the right resources - Bring your L&D expertise to the team - we love to hear about the latest learning theories, technology, and trends - Evaluate training programmes, measuring their impact and effectiveness, and make any tweaks to courses based on feedback **A Bit About Us**: At AO, we want to make sure our customers are happy.
