We are looking for a Delivery Driver, Category B (3.5t) - Reading, City Centre, 14 Richfield Ave, Reading RG1 8EQ.

**Package**

Salary : £12.00 per hour attended (Increased to £12.50 per hour after Probation)

Full Time

Permanent Contract

Working Hours : 45 hrs minimum per week, Monday to Friday from 05:00hrs

**Key responsibilities**

Working within the transport team, duties will include:

- Conduct pre and post vehicle checks and record defects accordingly.
- Comply with all aspects governed by the working time directive.
- Performing the daily duties and deliveries in accordance with the timed schedule.
- Undertaking bed and furniture deliveries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure your vehicle is cleaned both internally and externally.
- Work with the delivery and warehouse teams to load and unload stock onto our modern fleet of vehicles.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures towards Health and Safety.

Competencies/Key Skills required
- An excellent proven track record in a delivery role (one year minimum).
- Physically fit due to the nature of products (manual handling of carpets etc.).
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
