You'll manage and appraise all resources, provide leadership, guidance, knowledge and expertise to driveeffective, efficient working practices. **As our Principal Integration Engineer, you will**: - Lead the design and specification of the core Integration Patterns and services to be implemented by Viking - Assure the delivery of the integration artefacts to Viking, ensuring they conform to the design principles, standards and guidelines - Develop relationships with customers, internal and external engineering, product, programme/project and business teams - Effectively articulate the key design principles for Integration to the immediate team, suppliers and senior management - Ensure the Integration Architecture and service support the Enterprise Architecture principles, standards and roadmap, including SOA principles and governance - Promote an agile and flexible approach to solution design delivery across both internal and external delivery teams - Optimise delivered IT solutions and improved information management - Deliver IT solutions that adhere to policies, standards and guidelines - Oversee initiation, coordination and execution of new business developments innovations - Oversee and/or contribute to the delivery of IT work packages in support of business and IT projects and change requests according to procedures and standards - Define scope and activities of projects, ensure execution and manages uncertainties - Integrate new strategies and technologies into policies and processes driving medium level of investment and risk - Set team priorities; provide input on resource planning and policy development - Influence over Capex and/or drive for Opex improvement of < € 500K - Delivery of system/project components to time, quality and expectation in support of Capex / Opex < € 500K - Attract, lead, coach, appraise and develop (the cooperation between) employees, ensure staffing and increase empowerment **What we’re looking for in our Principal Integration Engineer**: - Experience with Agile delivery methods - Quality assurance testing experience - The ability to translate business needs into technical requirements - Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments for partner integrations. - Microservices event-driven architecture - Knowledge of IBM B2B and integration solutions - Knowledge of WebSphere MQ - Strong Java and Spring framework experience - Knowledge of electronic data interchange (EDI) and mapping functions including knowledge of a variety of mapping tools - Experience with document type definition (DTD) and XML Schema development XLST development experience - Knowledge of Internet and B2B messaging protocols (File Transfer Protocol(FTP), Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Simple Mail Transfer Protocol(SMTP), Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), AS1, AS2, AS3, RosettaNet, ebXML etc) - Experience of B2B Market places, Punch-out and cxml and oci communication methods Want to join our team?
