The Newborn Hearing Screening team work within the maternity unit, neonatal unit & at clinics to screen all newborn babies as per NHSP programme. The team work over a 7 day period

It will be your role to be part of a team providing hearing screening for newborn babies by identifying eligible babies, communicating with parents & families, gathering & recording screening information & uploading data.The post involves direct handling of newborn babies, contact with new parents, & working closely with maternity staff, neonatal staff & the audiology team.

Please note this post involves some weekend & Bank Holiday working
