**Care Coordinator - Job Description**
**Working Hours**:40 (to include evening and weekend working where necessary)
**Salary**:£22,500k per annum pro rata

We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Coordinator to join our Care & Support company based at our Cwmbran office.
To ensure all care packages are covered with appropriate levels of care workers at all times using effective rostering to fully utilise staff hours and drive employee engagement. To approve annual leave requests and monitor staff sickness and absence levels and to organise the company’s on-call rota. To liaise with the registered manager to ensure adequate cover for all existing and new care packages to guarantee the smooth running of the care service. To assist the manager in the management of costs by ensuring working patterns are efficient and logical. To provide excellent quality care and support service to vulnerable adults and children, both at home and in the wider community.
Experience
You must demonstrate commitment to working within a team, have a flexible approach to working hours and experience within the Care industry. This role will involve an element of on-call duties, therefore a driver with access to a vehicle is essential.

**Individual Responsibilities**
- Create, organise and coordinate weekly rotas for our Supported Living and Residential Services ensuring a high quality of service and continuity of care is delivered.
