Head of Access

Our Head of Access will play a pivotal part in the elective agenda working closely with clinical divisions on their activity plans and performance trajectories ensuring delivery of the operational planning guidance.
You will ensure optimal elective access performance, both currently and in the future, across the organisation.
You will be responsible for monitoring and supporting divisions to take action to maintain grip on our trust wide access targets. You will work with divisional operational leads to monitor and report on performance, work pro-actively to spot changes in performance and to put in remedial action plans to improve areas of performance that are below the expected standards.
To lead on all areas of access performance delivery for the Trust. The post holder will lead at a corporate level within ESNEFT to support performance delivery against all national elective access standards across all divisions.
Lead the capacity planning to deliver contracted activity. Work with clinical leads to ensure that sufficient resources are in place to deliver a safe and efficient service. Lead the operational response to contracting with commissioners on behalf of the Director of Operations.
