We manufacture a broad range of high quality own label and branded bakery products to suit the needs of customers and consumers in markets across Europe.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Support site to produce food safely, hygienically and to required internal & external specifications within a TACCP framework.

Responsible for maintenance of the factory quality management system, to comply with site specific customer requirements and accreditations, - BRC, IFS, RSPO/RFA.

Responsible for the success of the quality systems activities to be carried out to schedule and responsible for customer and internal KPI reporting.

**RESULTS: -**
- Monitor the health, safety, welfare and environmental aspects within manufacturing to maintain a safe working environment and a focussed workforce and demonstrate the values of the site and business at all times
- Responsible for the upkeep of TACCP / VACCP and integrity, food defence & fraud management system information
- Support the factory in achieving and documenting GMP and hygiene standards to audit ready at all times
- Management of the Quality Systems & Compliance Officer, checking structured tasks are completed OTIF
- Responsible for the Brexit documentation process
- Responsible for the creation and document control of site procedures and policies, in line with site templates
- Accountable for site document control
- Accountable for Supplier Non Conformance completion and communication
- Accountable for site traceability audits, both scheduled for mock recalls or withdrawals and live for audit / complaint requirements
- Lead (RSPO & UTZ) and support customer and accreditation audits & manage close outs including manage master action log.
- Co-ordination of RCA for Q related issues, Holds and non-conformities
- Align with PDC, C&D and SQT to ensure comprehensive & collaborative risk assessments for products and ingredients in line with customer requirements and industry best practice
- Challenge lack of adherence to policy, procedure and specifications to improve ways of working
- Responsible for the scheduling and facilitation of site Internal Audits
- Escalate where appropriate to Quality Manager
- Deputise for other team members where necessary
