Medway Norse is one of the biggest joint ventures within Norse Group, partnering with Medway Council to deliver a growing number of frontline public services to residents. The business portfolio is including to develop as further services are provided across waste, building maintenance and Grounds management.

Our Grounds team support a growing number of sites across the surrounding area, and we are currently recruiting for a Tree Officer to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.

As Tree Officer, you will be responsible for providing professional technical services to our clients in the local area, you will be required to assist the Tree consultant in inspections and all tree related matters. these duties will also include;
- Monitor arboriculture contracts and prepare tender
- Respond to council departments, local members and members of the public regarding tree related enquiries
- Organise new and replacement tree planting plan each year
- Work alongside the grounds team to ensure smooth running of projects

We will be looking for you to demonstrate a combination of commercial experience and industry knowledge for the role, highlighted by;
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
- National Diploma or Equivalent in Arboriculture
- Considerable experience within a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Can work independently and within a team
